These Parmesan Chick Strips with Mustard and Chives is an easy recipe to make for a weeknight meal or appetizers for a party.
Parmesan Chicken Strips with Mustard and Chives
1 1/2 teaspoons coconut oil
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut lengthwise into 1/2-inch wide strips
1/3 cup grated Parmesan
3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
3/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Salt and ground black pepper
2 Tablespoons Dijon mustard
Fresh chives, chopped
In medium bowl, mix together spices, salt, pepper and mustard. Add chicken strips and toss until well coated.
In large skillet, melt coconut oil. Add chicken and cook 3-4 minutes on each side.
When chicken is cooked through put on plate and top with parmesan cheese immediately so that it can melt. Top with chives and serve.
