Isn’t she pretty? She turned 17, so we’re celebrating. I’m making salmon cakes, pesto tomatoes, corn on the cob and for dessert this colorful and healthy Chakra fruit salad with vanilla rose yogurt sauce.
Chakra Fruit Salad
You’ll need fruits the colors of the chakras – Strawberries, cherries, and raspberries (1st chakra); oranges, peaches, apricots, and cantaloupe (2nd chakra); bananas or pineapple (3rd chakra); kiwis, green grapes, and honeydew (4th chakra); blueberries (5th chakra); red grapes and red plums (6th chakra); blackberries, black grapes, and purple plums (7th chakra).
Wash, peel and chop whatever combination of fruits you decided to use.
Vanilla Rose Yogurt Sauce
1 cup Greek yogurt, unsweetened
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 tablespoon rose water
2 tablespoons honey
Chocolate bar for shaving, optional
Put all ingredients in a medium bowl and mix. Store in refrigerator until ready to serve.
When you are ready to serve, spoon fruit mixture into bowl and put a heaping spoonful of Vanilla Rose Yogurt Sauce on top. You can put chocolate shavings on top too! Enjoy!
