Life Currents shared a smoothie tip: She suggests putting the lighter ingredients in the blender first, followed by the heavier ingredients, and lastly the ice. This will keep everything from flying around the blender and will keep clean-up to a minimum.

2 cups ripe mango chunks (from 1-2 mangos)
2-3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
2 cups unsweetened coconut water
Pinch of cayenne powder
Combine all ingredients in a blender, and blend until smooth.
Serves 2. Per serving: 159 calories

WonkyWonderful shared this smoothie tip: Whenever possible skip using ice in smoothies. Instead freeze orange wedges, pineapple chunks, berries and grapes when they are getting over-ripe. Not only does it keep the fruit from being wasted but it also works great in smoothies instead of ice.
