Love the taste of chocolate and peanut butter in your brownies, but want to avoid peanuts? Well then these Flourless Sunbutter Chocolate Chip Brownies are for you.
Flourless Sunbutter Chocolate Chip Brownies
Yields: 16 brownies
1/2 cup sunbutter
1/2 cup maple syrup (or honey)
1 Tablespoon vanilla
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
1/3 cup cacao powder
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/3 cup mini chocolate chips (plus more to sprinkle on top)
Preheat over to 350°F.
In a food processor, combine sunbutter, eggs, and maple syrup
Add vanilla, vinegar, cacao powder, salt, and baking soda and pulse to combine
Stir chocolate chips by hand
Pour into square greased cake pan. Spread slightly (it will even itself out).
Sprinkle top with more chocolate chips (about 1/4 cup).
Bake for 15-20 minutes.
Cool for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Cut into 16 squares and serve.
