Bighorn Sheep of Rio Grande Gorge
We’re visiting our friends Linda and Rosey in Santa Fe, New Mexico this week. Yesterday, they took us to the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge, located 10 miles northwest of Taos. It’s called the “Gorge Bridge” and the “High Bridge” by locals. At 565 feet above the Rio Grande, it’s the seventh highest bridge in the United States.

The Roseate Spoonbill is one of the most striking wading birds in North America. The Spoonbill (or “Spoony”) has a pink body, with red on its wings, and an orangish patch on its tail. The bill is a spatula shaped and is used to scoop up its food from the water.
